‘Accidental Witness’- Sam Mariano

“It’s not an easy thing, loving a Morelli.”

Vince Morelli.

The closest I ever wanted to get to him was several rows away in English class. We’d never spoken, but of course I heard the stories about his family. I know they’re dangerous. I know he’s dangerous. Vince never had a reason to notice me, anyway—until I inadvertently witnessed his first mob hit.

His family doesn’t believe in leaving witnesses alive, but Vince seems different. He knows the best thing he can do for me is stay away, but something keeps drawing us together. Despite knowing the risks of getting mixed up with him, I can’t resist. Only problem is, Vince is a package deal—you don’t get him without getting swept up in his family’s dark games.

Now entangled with a notorious Chicago crime family, will my life ever be mine again?

Woah. What just happened? I was recommended this by someone in a reader group and they told me I would become addicted to the series. They could not have been more right.

I went through so many emotions!! I loved Mia and Vince and watching their relationship develop. I loved and hated and loved Mateo. He messed with my mind so much. He’s got such a presence that you can’t help but be sucked in, even though you really want to slap him!

Always enjoy a mafia romance and so glad I found this series. Plenty of action, romance and mafia men. 😍 But this book messes with your head and leaves you wanting more and scared to read more at the same time!

The characters are all brilliant and I hope we find out more about each of them in the rest of the series. Especially Adrian. Would love to know his story. I also can’t wait to see what the future holds for Mia and Vince. I hope they get a HEA.

I loved this book so much I have already 1-clicked the rest of the series!
