‘Bentley’ – Melanie Moreland

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Three young men meet in university and form a lifelong friendship.
Their pasts dictate the men they are, but their present shapes their future.

What happens when these men meet the one person they are destined to be with? Can they fight their feelings and walk away? Or will they each succumb and learn the sweet agony of love?

Bentley
The leader of the group. He is uptight, formal, and cold. Rigid and set in his ways, always following the same path. Until the day, he stumbles upon her.
Emmy.
She brings with her spontaneity and light. The world she lives in is so different from his, yet he cannot control the draw to her. Nor can he explain the way she makes him feel.
Happy.
Protective.
Loved.

I have been waiting for this one ever since Melanie said it was on the cards. I received the ARC copy one evening and a couple of hours later I was already done. I could not put it down. What a great read!

Where to start? I love Bentley. I love his charm, his attitude and temper, how he develops as a character, his relationships with his friends and of course his relationship with Emmy.

Bentley and Emmy are made for each other. He is Mr Serious, always follows his routine and doesn’t have time for relationships. Emmy makes fun of him as soon as they meet and Bentley doesnt know what to make of it. No one mocks him. He’s intrigued and finds himself going back to see her again. I love how their relationship develops, how they begin to trust one another and open up. I also love how protective Bentley is!

I loved this book, I knew I would as Melanie never let’s me down. It’s easy to read and full of romance, action, suspense and drama. There is something for everyone. Highly recommend this to romance lovers.

I can’t wait for book two of this series. I get the feeling Aiden has one hell of a story to tell and I can’t wait to read it.
