Yes. I’m grumpy. It’s been a bad day, and all I want to do is woller in my own pity. Chase had other plans.
I figured out his plan for ending my grumpies at the precise moment that his hand landed on my ass cheek – smack! Rubbing the place he just spanked, he asked, “Still feeling grumpy, Sweet Cheeks?” All I could do was moan and hide my face in the covers. How in the hell did this turn me on? I couldn’t even process that thought before his hand landed again on the other cheek.
As amazing as her breasts were, nothing beats that sweet pussy of hers; tastes like honey, and I could eat her for breakfast, lunch and dinner and never get enough of her. I teased those spectacular lips, licking in and out of her pussy, placing kisses all around her clit.
🔥Child Protective Service worker Sadey Collins is back to doing what she does best – annoying clients and ticking off drug dealers. Muddling through a new relationship that’s eliciting feelings she never knew existed – that’s an area where she’s not at her best. But, hey, what could possibly go wrong when there’s a gorgeous man in your bed that can play your body like a well-strung harp? Oh, yeah, and he can cook!
Murder, kidnapping, drive-by shootings and explosions once again leave Sadey badly injured and under round-the-clock protection and continuous hovering from her rock solid, drop-dead gorgeous fiancé, Chase. But it doesn’t stop there. With a house full of friends and family, another surgery and a killer on the loose, the stress is building.
Follow along as strangers become friends, friends become family and a killer takes a journey through the hills of West Virginia; his biggest mistake being that he thinks he can outsmart a couple of ticked-off detectives and a sheriff with a vendetta. But don’t settle back in too quickly – you might find an ending that leaves more questions than answers.❣️

Christy Wilson is the author of the CPS series, which follows the life and cases of Child Protective Services worker Sadey Collins. Although her degree is in Elementary Education, with a Master Degree in Reading, Christy spent several years working in social work. She started as a Homefinder for a foster care agency, before spending several years working for Child Protective Services. Investigating the abuse and neglect of children is mentally taxing and she has experienced first-hand the many challenges, and few successes, that are experienced by CPS workers.
Christy lives with her family in the mountains of Ritchie County, West Virginia. They have three children, four grandchildren (with another on the way) and three large dogs who believe they are children (and treated as such).
While spoiling her grandchildren is her favorite activity, writing comes in a close second. She also enjoys cross-stitching, scrapbooking, and reading everything she can from her favorite authors: Marie Force, Janet Evanovich, Kathy Reichs, Catherine Coulter, Tess Gerritsen, James Patterson, Sylvia Day… just to name a few.
